Kitchen Utensils
Essential items like cooking utensils are widely present in the Cordillera. The traditionally produced utensils include wooden spoons, dippers, bowls, spice servers, betel nut crackers, meat cutters, and many others with various forms and sizes. Without sacrificing the practical functions of the items, producers of these objects incorporate beautiful and unique carvings into the designs that reflect not only their aesthetics but also the beliefs, skills, and cultures of the communities. Among the common motifs are anthropomorphic and zoomorphic carvings, while others have more abstract carvings and engravings.
