DESCRIPTION:

A rattan container basket with a horn-like protruding opening at its two ends. The lid of this container basket resembles the anthropomorphic wood carving of the human head that serves as a lid. It has a rattan holder attached on its two horns/ends.

Kulikog/kalikog, also tuklobaw, is a woven rattan basket, swaybacked-shape with one or two mouths/openings, common to the Bontoc and Kankana-ey of the Mountain Province, and also in Ifugao. For the Bontoc, this is a container for rice seeds that will be planted in the next planting season.
