DESCRIPTION:

A cylinder rice wine dipper with two (2) bamboo wine catcher. It serves as a strainer when placed inside the ceramic jar with rice wine.

RESEARCH DATA:

Rice wine is a significant part of the Ifugao rituals and agricultural festivities, rice beer is made from glutinous rice and yeast. As such, medium ceramic jars are used as a container for the bayah (rice wine), and the dipper is used to gather and pour rice wine into smaller containers.
