RESEARCH DATA:
A miniature version of a woven rattan shoulder bag is also called kalupit (Jenks, 1905), commonly used by men (Capistrano-Baker et al., 1998), from Bontoc, Mountain Province. It varies in shape and size. Kupit such as this has only one compartment, however many variations of it have more compartments and are used to store food, like cooked rice, and other personal belongings.
