RESEARCH DATA:

Known as innanga, this raincoat hails from Ifugao and serves as a protective garment against rain. Beyond personal use, it also functions to shield harvested rice from being saturated by rainwater. Constructed with either cogon or rattan leaves as primary materials, these layered components act as excellent water repellents. The raincape's design conforms to the human body, with the upper sections tailored to snugly fit the wearer's shoulders, ensuring a secure and effective shield against the elements.
