RESEARCH DATA:

Specifically, this is the Ga’dang tangkil, designed as an armband for men. It is formed by skillfully connecting the tusk ends to create a circular shape, with two drilled holes near the tips allowing for a cord to tie them together, as detailed by Maramba in 1998. The tangkil is further enhanced with the addition of red cloth and intricate bead embellishments, featuring diamond patterns symbolizing the "eye of the ancestor."
