Beadwork is vital in the indigenous concepts of aesthetics and cultural expression in the Cordillera region. They blend beauty, function, markers of identity and representation. Beads in various shapes and sizes, colors, and materials are used to embellish traditional attires. The Ga’dang, an ethnic group in Mountain Province are renowned for their intricate beadwork on their textiles and adornments.
